Seven Angels Theatre is the only professional, Equity theatre in the Greater Waterbury region. A grass-roots arts organization founded in 1990, it is one of the youngest arts organizations in Waterbury. It has grown to become a genuine asset to Greater Waterbury, and is one of the three largest arts organizations in Waterbury, as well as the Greater Waterbury region.

The only major professional arts organization to emerge in Waterbury and the Greater Waterbury region in 60 years, it has the region's largest subscriber / member base of 2,000 with an annual attendance of 50,000, producing and presenting 200 performances a year.
