The Naugatuck Historical Society was founded in 1959, and is a membership supported nonprofit organization bringing together people who are interested in history, and especially in the history of Naugatuck, Connecticut, and environs.

The organization has about 200 members and has recently opened their new office and museum in the renovated train station in Naugatuck.
